Habitat
Akar Kerak Nasi (Lindernia crustacea (L.) F. Muell ) are easily found living in grass either at home, on the street, in the sandy and rocky soil along the coast and in coastal rivers.

Morphological characteristics
This small herb branched and usually only 3-6 cm high. The leaves are small, oval in shape, and serrated at the edges. The leaves are without stalks or sesil. Green leaf color but sometimes red. The flowers come out from the base of one
leaves. Form flowers are symmetrical, and there are purple-colored tubes or reddish purple. This herb petals short and round, and the color is paler. Fruit, capsule type and are round.

Uses and benefits
Akar Kerak Nasi (Lindernia crustacea (L.) F. Muell ) are crushed and made medicine to treat boils and fertilizer in the swelling of the skin, in addition to cure boils and itching. Broth used as drugs to treat post-partum mothers.
